Qualifications

Sandra Akmansoy’s education laid the foundation for a career that bridges technical excellence, strategic leadership, and global collaboration. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with her thesis research in Water Resources Engineering and the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and an MBA building a strong grounding in civil infrastructure, sustainability and management.

Sandra was inducted into the Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Academy of Distinguished Alumni in 2014. She serves as a Board Director of the Academy from 2025-2028.

 

Sandra is a member of the External Advisory Committee (EAC) for the Maseeh Department of Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering Department from 2022-2028, and was chair of the EAC in 2024-2025.

 

She was a member of the Comité National des Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France from 2016-2019.
